joint account

Any account owned by two or more people - the same as in joint mortgage or joint will.

junk bond

A high-risk bond with a low credit rating. Investing a junk bond involves greater than usual risk and pays a relatively high rate of interest, typically issued by a company lacking an established earnings history or having a questionable credit history.
